Mister Claxton
Hailing from Nashville Tennessee and growing up in Yorktown Virginia Lee Creasy put down roots in Philadelphia Pennsylvania where he picked up a banjo with an ear for old time folk tunes.
His musical background started as a teenager when he borrowed a guitar and learned from his uncle in Nashville. Mostly he wanted to write music and totally rock out. Later on in life, he even wrote a couple electronica albums.
When he picked up the banjo he fell in love with the idea that before recordings families just pushed back their chairs after dinner, or walked out to the porch, instruments in hand. They would play as entertainment, just for fun, to hang out. Songs were fluid expressions meant to be meaningful for the whole family. This is the romantic idea that he loves about the music he's playing these days. He loves to just sit out on his porch, in the back yard or in the dining room just foolin' around on his banjo with friends, family and any ol' hobo who happens along.
